5 lb Stackable Cast Iron Weight for Double Hung Windows

Joinery Hardware has designed a line of stackable cast iron weights to balance wood window sashes. Simply recreate the weight needed for your sash by combining our 1lb, 3lb, and 5lb weights to achieve the desired balance.

When choosing sash weights for any window repair or renovation project we recommend that you check your box size first and make sure the weights you have selected fit. 

For Cast Iron Weights Joinery Hardware acknowledges an acceptable tolerance of approximately 1.5 ounces per weight. This tolerance is to allow for the weight of sash cord or chain.
